Traditionally dyed Fabrics the yarn is like a radish. It has a bright colour on the outside, but is white on the inside. The Acrylic fabrics we use are solution-dyed like a carrot. It is the same colour all the way through. Because the colour is added to the acrylic at the beginning of the process. When the acrylic is in liquid form. Then it is converted into acrylic fibre, spun into acrylic yarn and finally woven into acrylic fabric. So the beautiful colour you see on the outside of the fabric is also the colour on the inside.

Waterproof tests, including the Schmerber, Bundesmann and spray tests, test the water resistance of the fabric.

Oil/acid tests measure the ability of the fabric to resist absorption of oil and acid.
