The customers house was up high on a hill and facing south. They asked for a patio awning with a deep valance thats the textile that hangs down from the front profile on a patio awning. I advised them that textile that is left longto hang from the awning when againest the wall just gets damaged upon being blown againest the wall all the time. So use a Brustor B38 patio awning which has a special front profile which has a roll of textile in it that you can control by Somfy remote control and let out as much textile as you like up too 1.2mtr drop. When the sun is low you can just let out a little more auto valance. The picture shows a B38 Kover-it installed to a property in Reading Berkshire. The awning textile used is top quality.
The pictures show the awning closed back againest the wall as you can see the patio awning has a full cassette. The awning when closed also puts the valance back inside the front profile.
Kover-it also converted the customers other awning from manual to Somfy remote control and then put a new matching fabric on the awning.
