This heavy duty waterproof parasol cover is extremely strong, robust, and features a hard-wearing zip for ease of getting the cover on and off. All aspects have been specifically designed to ensure a long and practical lifespan.

Manufactured from 580gsm PVC-ST, this textile is 100 percent waterproof, has excellent UV stability, and is mildew resistant. It’s non-porous surface makes it extremely easy to clean (as heavy rain will do most of the work for you). This waterproof parasol cover has been manufactured by us in our workshop in the UK, we use marine grade thread which swells within it’s holes, and double stitch all seams. Our covers are made to a high quality, and we have seen majority of our covers far exceeding the 5 year guarantee*.

The zip we use is a 10mm zip – the same spec also used on many boat covers. We also place a small protective lip each side of the zip which keeps the zip discreet, and offers protection.

You need to ensure that your parasol (when closed) has a circumference of less than 96cm at the bottom, and less than 32cm at the top. To do this run a tape measure around the closed parasol both bottom and top.

You should also check that you are happy for the cover to drop 190cm over the top of your parasol. Use a tape measure to measure from the top down.

This textile is truly 100% waterproof this is superior to ‘water-resistant’. PVC-ST can take an extremely high volume and pressure of water.

It also has excellent UV stability.

This cover features strong brass eyelets frequently spaced around the bottom, with thick robust elasticated shock cord to thread through and secure in place.

Shock cord can be tucked beneath feet/legs on some items of furniture. It is also very easy to replace or amend.

How long will this cover last?

The lifespan of a cover is dependant on so many factors specific to your location, use, environment, fit on the item, and maintenance. We have seen many of these covers used within the UK lasting over 10 years.

The zip runs approx. 3/4 up the side.
