Our heavy duty waterproof cover is manufactured from PVC-ST textile. This textile has the ability to cope in temperatures of plus 70 and minus 30, it is UV stabilised and completely waterproof. Ideal for use in diverse weather conditions, we use this textile for covers being used all over the world, even in places such as Spain and Switzerland.

This waterproof cantilever parasol cover offers all-year-round weather protection from heavy rain, strong winds, snow, hail, dirt, grime, bird droppings and the sun’s damaging UV rays.

Important Care tips: Always make sure that your parasol and the inside of the cover is dry before use, and air your parasol regularly.

If you have an old cover on your cantilever parasol then remove the cover, lay it flat and measure the old cover (pulling it taught and the tape measure as you measure). Alternatively, you should consider that the measurements shown are those of the actual cover laid flat. So when you measure the widths of your parasol ensure that you consider the thickness of your parasol.

The easiest way to do this would be: As you measure the width (at the widest middle part) bend the tape measure so it hugs exactly half of the parasol. Your parasol should not be more than 73cm (with tape measure hugging half).

Due to the shape of this cantilever parasol cover the height of your parasol should not be less than 230cm.

This cover has been designed for use on some brands/types of cantilever parasols, however if this does not look like the correct size or shape for your parasol it is best to get in touch with us or consider a custom made cover.

The measurements shown are those of the actual cover, therefore you should consider allowing for adequate ‘wiggle’ room to easily get the cover on and off, and there should ideally be a slight gap at the ground. In most cases a good fit for a cover usually means:

The cover should be approx. 1-3cm more in length and width compared to your item
The cover should be approx. 1-3cm less in height compared to your item (more if you wish for more of a gap)

This textile is truly 100% waterproof this is superior to ‘water-resistant’. PVC-ST can take an extremely high volume and pressure of water.

It also has excellent UV stability.

This cover features strong brass eyelets frequently spaced around the bottom, with thick robust elasticated shock cord to thread through and secure in place.

Shock cord can be tucked beneath feet/legs on some items of furniture. It is also very easy to replace or amend.

This is not the right size for my parasol, do you have other sizes?

Currently this is the only cantilever parasol cover we manufacture as standard and stock. But we are able to custom manufacture one perfect for your specific parasol. How far does the zip run up the side?

The zip runs approx. 3/4 up the side.

Do you do other colours?

We only stock the colours shown that it is available in (see the drop down options). If you require another colour then please get in touch with our custom covers team.

How do you secure the cover in place?

We supply a strong elasticated shock cord which you thread through the brass eyelets around the bottom of the cover, pull tight and tie a knot.

What happens if this cover does not fit?

We supply lots of information on the measurements of this cover to try and avoid this situation. But if in the instance it does not fit, please get in touch with us straight away or within 14 days so we may help organise your return/refund or exchange subject to our terms and conditions.

How thick is this cover?

We use a 580-600gsm PVC-ST which is classed as a heavy duty textile, this is also why it is so long lasting and strong.

How do I clean/maintain this cover?

Due to PVC-ST being non-porous, it means heavy rain will wash away most dirt and grime for you! But to clean it properly just give it a wipe with a wet sponge or use a hose pipe on low setting.

Since this cover has a zip, we advise after a period of 1 year, use silicone spray or wax on the zips teeth to keep it clean and running smoothly, and repeat every 6 months.
